“JEWISH WOMEN through the AGES”
For 7th grade girls and their mothers (or for girls celebrating their Bat Mitzvah this year)

A 10-part series facilitated by Rachel Rosenthal
Sunday mornings at 10am @ Aish

Through text study, art, drama, dance and music, Jewish female role models are brought to life.  From matriarchs to modern day leaders, mothers and daughters will together discover their links in the unbroken chain of Jewish women who came before them.

Join over 4,500 mothers and daughters around the world who have participated in this program!

All Bat Mitzvah girls will receive $100 spending money for the Aish Family Mission.

Joint Aish and PJ Library Challah Bake @ Aish HaTorah Detroit

Aish and PJ Library are partnering for a Mom’s night-out Challah bake.

Come and enjoy some sushi, salad, and wine together. Learn how to make dough, braid, and take home 6-8 ready to bake challahs.


Mother and Son Challah Bake @ Aish HaTorah Detroit

Bring your son/s to experience a hands-on  interactive Challah bake together with Mom! Everyone walks home with oven-ready challah, just bake and serve! A pizza supper will be served, so come hungry!

Young Family Chanukah Pajama Party @ Aish HaTorah

Join Aish on Saturday night, the fifth night of Chanukah for a Pajama party! We will also have a Havdala sing along, menorah lighting, dinner and make your own edible fruit menorah while learning all about the holiday!

Come in your pajamas! We will also be collecting new pajamas for “Sweet Dreams for Kids”(an organization that provides new pajamas for kids in the hospital) so please bring some along!

This event is geared for kids (and their parents) up to the age of 7

Camp Ahava Winter Break @ Aish HaTorah

Summer Camp was so great, we decided to continue the fun over winter break. Join us for arts and crafts, baking, sports, special activities and so much more!

Space is limited!

Camp begins Friday, December 22nd and runs through Tuesday, January 2nd. Camp will be in session on December 22, 26, 27, 28, 29 as well as January 2nd. The cost is $35 per day; your child can attend just one day or all days. The times are 9am to 3:30pm and is for kids ages 3-7.

Join us for a special Camp Ahava Safety Week!

Every day we will focus on a different aspect of safety- fire safety, road safety, stranger danger, etc. All the activities will help to enforce the concepts in a non-threatening, friendly way. Of course we will also be spending time outdoors and doing all our regular camp activities such as baking, arts and crafts, sports and more.

Camp is for children between the ages of 3-7 and will be from 9am-3pm. Snacks and lunch will be provided.

We will be running the SAME camp TWICE to allow for all the different schools to benefit, so if you register for both weeks it will be an EXACT repeat.
